Currently: President of Consulting & Growth at Talivity, where I lead AI and talent acquisition strategy. I help employers figure out which AI applications actually matter versus which ones are repackaged hype.
Before this: Founded Change State, a recruitment marketing consultancy (sold to Recruitics, 2025). Spent a decade at CareerBuilder scaling sales engineering from 1 to 84 people. Co-founded SeatSync, a mobile ticket marketplace in Chicago (2012).
Now: Training for Boston Marathon 2026 (targeting 2:39). Building Syndicate Running, a Pacific Northwest running brand (late nights and weekends). Writing about AI, work, and building companies. Becoming a dad in March 2026.
I think in seasons, not days. Most people optimize for the next quarter. I focus on longer arcs: multi-year training blocks, sustainable systems, things that compound over time.
What I'm Known For
Cutting through AI vendor noise. Asking the questions most teams avoid. Shipping improvements, not just recommendations.
I don't do strategy decks. I do diagnostics that show what's actually working and execution support to fix what's broken. Vendor-agnostic. Data-driven. Comfortable with uncomfortable questions.
I was coached by the Mochary Method team for a season, which instilled a bias toward action over delay. Most problems don't need more thinking. They need someone to start fixing them.
